IV Therapy for Fatigue & Low Energy
Everyone has stretches of being run down: a demanding month at work, a newborn at home, a run of night shifts, a Florida summer that drains you by noon. Ivology brings energy-focused IV drips to your home or office in Miami and Tampa.
Tiredness also has medical causes that no drip will fix. This page explains what an IV can reasonably do, which drips people choose, and when fatigue is a reason to see your doctor.
When an IV may help
A demanding stretch
Long hours, short sleep and too much coffee for a few weeks, and you want a reset alongside getting back to better habits.
Run down and under-hydrated
You have not been drinking or eating well, and you feel flat, foggy and headachy by mid-afternoon.
Recovering from something
You have been ill, traveling or pushing hard physically, and your energy has not come back yet.
Drips people choose for this
Energy Boost IV
Our drip for low energy: IV fluids with our highest dose of vitamin B12, plus B-complex, vitamin C, magnesium and L-carnitine. The Signature tier adds taurine and glutathione.
Myers' Cocktail
The long-established wellness drip of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. Many people who book regularly choose this one.
Vitamin IV Drip
A lighter, lower-cost blend of fluids, vitamin C, B12, B-complex and magnesium.
What an energy drip can and cannot do
B vitamins help your body turn food into energy, and vitamin B12 deficiency is a genuine cause of fatigue, particularly in older adults, people who eat little or no animal products, and people on certain medications. Mild dehydration also saps energy and concentration more than most people expect. An IV addresses both directly.
If you are already well nourished and hydrated, extra vitamins are unlikely to transform how you feel, and the effect of a drip is usually temporary. Sleep, regular meals, movement and managing stress are what sustain energy. Think of an IV as a boost during a hard stretch, not a replacement for those.
When tiredness needs a doctor
Fatigue that has lasted more than two or three weeks, or that came on without an obvious reason, deserves a medical check. Common treatable causes include anemia, thyroid problems, diabetes, sleep apnea, depression and side effects of medication. A blood test can identify several of these.
Our nurses will ask how long you have felt this way and what else is going on. If your answers suggest something that needs investigating, they will tell you, and that advice matters more than the drip.
Making it a routine
People who find an energy drip helpful often book every two to four weeks. There is no single correct schedule. HydroClub, our month-to-month membership, offers member pricing if you plan to book regularly. A work-from-home day is ideal: the drip takes 45 to 60 minutes and you can stay on your laptop.
When fatigue is urgent
Call 911 or go to an emergency room, and do not book an IV, if tiredness comes with:
- Chest pain, pressure or tightness
- Shortness of breath at rest or with light activity
- Fainting, or a racing or irregular heartbeat
- Sudden weakness on one side, trouble speaking or confusion
- Black or bloody stools, or vomiting blood
- Thoughts of harming yourself. In the US you can call or text 988 at any time
Mobile IV therapy is an elective wellness service. It is not emergency care and does not diagnose or treat any medical condition.
Fatigue & Low Energy: Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the energy boost last?
It varies from person to person. Some people feel a lift for a few days, others notice little. If a deficiency or dehydration was part of the problem, you are more likely to feel a difference.
What is in the Energy Boost IV?
IV fluids, vitamin B12, B-complex, vitamin C, magnesium and L-carnitine. The Signature tier adds taurine and glutathione. Amounts for each tier are on the Energy Boost IV page.
I am tired all the time. Should I get an IV?
See a doctor first. Ongoing fatigue has many treatable causes, and a drip could mask one without fixing it. Once those are ruled out, an IV can be a reasonable part of your routine.
Can I get a drip at my office?
Yes. A private office or quiet meeting room with a comfortable chair is all your nurse needs. Most people work through it.
How often can I get an energy IV?
Every two to four weeks is common among people who book regularly. Your nurse can talk through what is sensible for you.
