Mobile IV Therapy in Kendall
Kendall is where a large part of Miami actually lives. It stretches for miles across the southwest of the county, from the shops and towers around Dadeland to the lake communities of West Kendall near the edge of the Everglades, and it is home to families who have been here for three generations alongside people who arrived last year. Ivology brings IV therapy to homes and offices across Kendall. A licensed registered nurse drives to you, which in this part of the county is the whole point.
This page explains where we go, how to plan around Kendall's traffic, and how busy households fit a visit into the week.
East Kendall, West Kendall, and everything between
Kendall has never been a city, so its edges are a matter of opinion. Most people use the name for the area on either side of Kendall Drive, which is SW 88th Street, from US 1 west to Krome Avenue. East of the Palmetto are the older neighborhoods of ranch houses on large lots and the cluster of apartments, offices, and shops around Dadeland. In the middle are subdivisions built from the 1970s onward, such as Kendale Lakes and the neighborhoods around the community college. West of the Turnpike are The Hammocks, The Crossings, Country Walk, and the newer communities out toward the airport at Tamiami.
We visit all of these. Enter your address when you book and choose the Miami region. If you are at the far western or southern edge and are not sure you are within range, send us a message first and we will confirm.
Why a house call makes sense here
Anyone who lives in Kendall measures distance in minutes. A trip east on Kendall Drive at five in the afternoon, or north on the Turnpike or the Palmetto at eight in the morning, can take three times what the map suggests. Driving to a clinic in Brickell or Coral Gables for an hour-long drip can use up half a day.
With a mobile visit, the only time you spend is the hour itself. For scheduling, the smoothest windows are mid-morning, after school drop-off and the commute have cleared, and early afternoon before pickup begins. Weekend mornings are easy as well. Our Miami schedule has limited capacity at the moment, and Kendall is a longer drive for our nurses than the urban core, so reserving a few days ahead gives you the best choice of times.
Gates, guest lists, and townhome parking
Many West Kendall communities are gated, with either a guard or a keypad, and townhome developments often have assigned parking with a limited number of guest spaces that are strictly enforced. A nurse who cannot get through the gate or has nowhere to leave the car is the kind of delay that is easy to prevent.
When you book, include the community name, the gate code or guest-list instructions, and where a visitor should park. In single-family neighborhoods none of this applies. There is a driveway, and your nurse will use it. Apartment buildings around Dadeland generally have a front desk or call box and a guest level in the garage. Tell us which entrance to use.
The hospital district and people who care for others
Kendall is one of the county's main centers for health care, with a large hospital campus on Kendall Drive and others nearby, along with clinics, rehabilitation centers, and medical offices. A great many nurses, technicians, therapists, and physicians live within a short drive of where they work.
People in health care understand IVs better than anyone and tend to be practical about them. They book after a run of twelve-hour shifts, usually for the afternoon once they have slept, and most often choose the Energy IV or the Myers' Cocktail. The assessment is the same for everyone. Your nurse will still ask about your history and medications and take your vital signs before starting.
Three generations and a full calendar
Households here are often large and busy. Grandparents live in the house or around the corner, both parents work, and the children's schedule of school, practice, and tutoring leaves few gaps. Spanish is spoken in most homes.
A visit at home fits into that in a way a clinic appointment does not. Parents book during school hours or in the evening. It is common for two or three adults in a family to be treated in the same visit, each with their own assessment. For an older relative, please have a medication list ready and stay nearby to help with questions. Heart and kidney conditions and some prescriptions can make IV fluids inadvisable, and the nurse will say so if that is the case. We do not treat children under 13, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian's consent. The website and booking are fully available in Spanish.
Students, long commutes, and exam weeks
With a large community college campus in the middle of Kendall and the state university a few miles north, many residents are students, often working at the same time. Others commute daily to Downtown, Doral, or the airport, spending two hours or more in the car.
Neither late-night studying nor a long commute is fixed by a drip, and sleep, food, and water come first. On the weekend after finals or at the end of a draining month, the Energy IV is the one people ask for. Adults 18 and over can book for themselves.
Parks, ball fields, and the summer heat
Kendall's parks are busy all year. Youth baseball, soccer, and flag football fill the fields at Tamiami Park and Kendall Indian Hammocks Park, adults run and cycle the paths, and families spend Saturdays at the zoo to the south or at backyard pools.
Away from the coast there is less breeze, and summer afternoons here are among the hottest in the county. Parents on the sidelines and weekend athletes alike lose more fluid than they replace. For ordinary dehydration and tiredness after a long day outside, the Recovery IV is a good fit. Heat stroke is different. Confusion, fainting, vomiting that will not stop, or hot, dry skin require emergency care. Call 911.
What Kendall households book
The Myers' Cocktail is where most people begin. It is the closest thing to the traditional vitamin suero that many families here already know, combining fluids with B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, and calcium. The Immune Boost is requested most during the school year, when colds travel from classroom to kitchen table, and the Beauty IV ahead of quinceañeras, weddings, and graduations.
The Hangover IV is a regular request the morning after those same celebrations. Every drip comes in three tiers, so there is a range of prices, and your nurse can help you pick during the assessment. Families who book often tend to join HydroClub, our month-to-month membership, because it lowers the cost of each visit.
Your visit and what it includes
Every Ivology visit is performed by a licensed registered nurse, and many of our nurses have ICU or ER backgrounds. The nurse brings all supplies, reviews your health history, medications, and allergies, checks your vital signs, and starts the IV only if it is appropriate.
Most drips take 45 to 60 minutes. The nurse stays throughout and takes all used supplies away. Each drip is offered in three tiers, and current prices are on the services page. We do not bill insurance. Mobile IV therapy is an elective wellness service and is never a substitute for emergency care.

IV Therapy in Kendall: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you serve West Kendall and The Hammocks?
Yes. We cover Kendall from Dadeland west past the Turnpike, including Kendale Lakes, The Hammocks, The Crossings, and Country Walk. If you are near Krome Avenue, message us first to confirm.
What is the best time to book in Kendall?
Mid-morning and early afternoon on weekdays avoid the worst of the traffic on Kendall Drive, the Turnpike, and the Palmetto. Weekend mornings also work well.
My townhome community tows cars without a guest pass. What should I do?
Arrange a guest pass or tell us which visitor space to use, and include the gate code or guest-list instructions in your booking notes.
Can you treat my mother, my husband, and me in one visit?
Yes. Add each adult when you book. Everyone gets an individual health assessment, and for older relatives a medication list is important.
Can I book same-day?
Sometimes, particularly on weekdays. Our Miami capacity is limited and Kendall takes extra travel time, so booking a few days ahead is more reliable.
Is the website available in Spanish?
Yes. Use the language selector at the top of the page. You can also note a language preference for your visit.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Elective IV therapy is generally not covered, and we do not bill insurance. HydroClub membership lowers the price for regular clients.
Can I book for the morning after a quinceañera or a wedding?
Yes. Weekend mornings are the most requested times, and our Miami capacity is limited, so reserve as early as you can once you know the date. For several family members at one address, tell us the number of people so we can plan enough nurses and time for each assessment.
